Rodrigo y Gabriela playing Tamacun live at one of their shows in Manchester. They are two Mexican guitarists who met in Mexico City and gained a following in Dublin, and have released their fourth official album and first album featuring other musicians. They re-worked a lot of their original songs in this album to feature the band C.U.B.A. 

They  have a lot of flamenco-rock influence in their work, Gabriela on the rhythm guitar and Rodrigo on the lead guitar. They drum their own beat on their guitars in a lot of their songs, really drawing you into the performance. Some of their songs give you the chills, I’d love to see them live one day.
